Already at the gates of December I make a brief review of the summer season.
In July I was invited by a great Dutch watercolourist friend. I was able to convince a friend -also a watercolourist- to come with me and after spending two days in Amsterdam painting streets and crossing canals we headed north where I painted ports and sea.
In August, I spent a few wonderful days in a small town near Gijón. I was able to rest, eat “a los Asturiano” and paint beaches and mists. I had a great time and was able to follow the Pope’s trip to Madrid.
In September, I participated in a watercolor course with Castagnet in Girona: it was time to continue expanding my knowledge. Despite being only three days of painting, I got really tired from the intensity, but it was worth it. I met people from Turkey, India, Russia, Canada and other European countries who were there. All with the same enthusiasm. We were not different … we were united by the enthusiasm for capturing beauty with watercolor.
October: break for family matters and order (something). November: I exhibited fifteen watercolors at the Hotel Blanca in Navarra.
I hope to continue soon telling you what I paint,
